Randy Ayers - Carrollton, GA
A note from wood artist, Steve Pritchard - Randy Ayers, a friend of mine is a potter that does primarily raku. Soon after I received my wood, Randy and I discusses using the savings I produced as combustible material in his raku work. He thought that the most appropriate use for them would be to use them in the creation of one of his tree sculptures. These are made of multiple fired pieces shaped and placed to represent a tree.
So the tree has become a permanent part of another tree! Randy was very happy with the results which were different from what he gets when he uses newspaper as he usually does.
