straight tool handles

I designed these tool handles for use with gouges and hollowing tools. The special cushioned grip material is very durable and attractive. They are the most comfortable handles I have used. Each handle has a 3/4” opening.

​The 12” and 18” handles are equipped with a 3/8”, 1/2” or 5/8” adaptor (1/2" is the default size).
​
We have an adapter available for the Naked Elbo Tool. Be sure to specify if that is what you are wanting.

​Additional adapters are available upon request.

These adapters are 3/4" outside diameter. The 1/2" adapter is standard with the 12" and 18" handles, but you may request an alternate size in the "Instructions to Merchant" on the shopping cart page or order additional adapters, here.

armbrace handle

ARMBRACE HANDLE $90

ARMBRACE HANDLE WITH HOLLOWING TOOL - *tool not included*

This armbrace is lighter than other armbrace handles. The special shape is more comfortable for different arm lengths. It is particularly effective with short bed lathes. The lathe spindle should be elbow height or slightly above for optimal benefit with this handle. The armbrace handle is 18" long. Optional 3/8”, 1/2” and 5/8” adaptors are available for this tool.

The red handle is ideal for use with the small (1/2") hollowing set and also works well with a bowl gouge for turning the outside of a piece. (I often prefer the shorter blue handle with some of the work that I do.)
