Richard turned the first bowl from my tree.  He turned at a demonstration in Franklin, Tennessee - the day after the tree was cut down.  This bowl is straight off the lathe - no sanding.  It was so generous of him to give the bowl to John at the conclusion of the demonstration.  ....I love it just like it is!
